One of the Pune’s busiest flyover is set to be demolished between 14th to 18th July 2020 for the construction of the Shivajinagar-Hinjewadi Metro rail corridor. Savitribai Phule Pune University and E-Square flyovers on the Ganeshkhind Road are being demolished and in their place, a new 1.5 km long flyover will be constructed whose alignment will be amenable to the alignment of the metro corridor.
